Unit Goals |

| 1) | Continue to use printmaking as a means of self-expression. |
| 2) | Identify design elements in a print (rhythm, repetition, overlapping, size, color and pattern). |
| 3) | Be introduced to the concept of positive and negative space. |
| 4) | Explore textures and a variety of materials with which to print (vegetables, forks, apples, erasers, fingers...). |
| 5) | Manipulate and care for printmaking tools and materials safely and effectively. |
| 6) | Develop listening skills by following a sequential lesson. |
